Tips for self audition tape

Find a brightly lit room to record in, one with white plain wall will be ideal

Have a friend to operate the camera / phone for you, or use a tripod or flat surface

Please record your self tape in LANDSCAPE

Please don’t send a long winded tape, just to the point

Introduce yourself to camera, example Hi Elvis Presley Star Casting auditioning for the role of Emmerdale

then from the script deliver your lines to camera / phone

If the script contains other actors lines, maybe have a friend feed you those lines and you deliver your lines

to camera the best you can
